My need and situation
I am 26-year-old woman who went to Dunbar Barber College for my barber license. I recently got married and now live with my family and help take care of the expenses and costs.
My goals are to one day run and own my own barbershop. I have been cutting hair since I was 13, and it's a career I have a passion for and that helps me support my family.
My need is to renew my barber license to be able to work at a barbershop. Do to family hardships, I was unable to pay the renewal fees and had to let my barber license expire. Now that the hardship is over, I am ready to get back into my field.
Meeting this need will help me because its the only thing stopping me from obtaining work as a barber. Once I do get it paid off, I will easily be able to find a job. Thank you for any assistance you are able to give me.

Renee came through Arizona @ Work for assistance in renewing her barber license. She has been in constant contact with me since she first came in and has been driven in job searching while she is waiting.
Meeting this need is important to Renee in that she is unable to work in her career as a barber without her license. She just has this barrier stopping her from obtaining her goals and will be a success once it is resolved.
