My work involves working with children and families, educating parents on the developmental strengths of their children. Also providing families with referrals to community resources that can assist families with their needs.
My job title is Home Visitor. I have been in this position since April 2010, when I joined the CNE staff.
What I like about my job is that I get to provide assistance for children and families. I like the relationships I have built with families during the time they are enrolled in our program.
In the future, I would like to continue working with children and families, and seek community agencies to create partnerships so that resources can be a bit more easier to obtain for the families we service.
I enjoy helping families receive services, in any way that it will help their families.
