Overview

I am a 53-year-old homeless Veteran, artist, and writer. I recently received funding for an apartment after 25 years of homelessness and will be able to move in as soon as I get my birth certificate!

My goals are to be a teacher/ mentor for youth and young adults. Once I am housed I'll finally be able to give back.

I need a birth certificate in order to move into my new apartment. This is the last thing I need in order to have all of my documentation lined up.

Meeting this need will help me maintain better health and housing stability. I am so excited to finally have my own apartment and to get off the streets.

I have known Ivory for several years through meals programs and daily services at the EDSSC. He is an incredibly talented artist and loves to show off his beautiful work. We are thrilled to find out that Ivory has finally been selected for a housing program! A birth certificate is all that stands in his way.
