I'm about to move into my own apartment! Need help with transportation costs.

While I take classes to continue on my path, I need help covering the transportation costs to and from my new home.

Overview

I have been homeless for ten years and at 57, I am at a truly life-changing moment: I am about to move into my own apartment. The past years have been spent working toward this day and I am proud of having arrived here.

My goal is to find employment. I am currently enrolled in a digital-literacy-and-business-support-skills class which includes working at an internship. Once completed, I can apply for a permanent job at an agency I love. My dream is to work with people who are homeless or transitioning into secure housing; In essence, I want to use what I've learned over the past ten years to help others find safety and security.

I need money to pay for transportation to-and-from my class. I have calculated exactly how much it would cost to use public transportation for each day of class.

Meeting this need will help me because the cost of public transportation is the only thing keeping me from getting to class, building my skills, and ultimately creating job opportunities for myself.
