Overview

I need car repairs to get to work. This includes spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, PCV valve, and oil.

My current situation is that I have to repair my car. I recently took the emissions test and failed. The repair shop asked for an amount that I cannot afford. I also started a new job after being unemployed and lost for two years. I cannot risk losing this job.

My goal is to go back to school to increase my chances on getting an even better job. So by you guys helping me, that really motivates me to do better for myself and my three kids.

It would mean the world to me to find somebody that is willing to help me in my time of need. The world would be a better place if everyone could think and act like you guys, so thanks in advance.

Right now my biggest challenge is that I will not be able to pay my bills and buy the stuff that I need for me and my three kids. That really hurts.

I think of myself mostly as a hard working person. It makes me happy especially when my co-workers tell me that all the time. 

I've worked at manufacturing jobs and something interesting about me is that I'm a movie critic.

I'm most proud of the trust I have for myself to be a hard worker and to be able to keep a job for a long period of time.

I have known Mike since he started coming to JARC for employment services a year ago. I first met him right after he got his forklift certification with us. As his employment coach, I have helped him find jobs and build his resume. I think meeting this need is important because Mike will not be able to keep his job if he can't drive his car. He has worked very hard to get this job. This will move the Mike's life forward by giving him the opportunity to get to work and also go back to school and get a higher education for better opportunities. This will also help him support his wife and three children. It will allow him to be self-sufficient, move into his own apartment, and save for his kids.
