Overview
I need CNC gear to gain employment. This includes safety glasses, a 1in-2in outside micrometer, a dial caliper, and a depth micrometer. Having your own tools in a shop is a vital asset because it shows employers that one is serious about their trade or craft.
Right now, my biggest challenge is being prepared for work. My biggest challenge is purchasing these precision measuring instruments, saving up for a car, and maintaining household bills and finances.
My goal is to remain consistent at work and perhaps further my knowledge and education in CNC by attending a 2 year college while I am working.
My current situation is that I am unemployed. I have an eight-year old son who needs to be on his bus at 9:30 am Monday to Friday. My wife works 1st shift. There is only 1 income in the household which makes it extremely difficult to afford such expensive tooling that I need for the industry.
Meeting this need will help me because it would mean the world to me to have people invest in me pursuing my career in the metalworking industry once again.
I think of myself mostly as a person who believes in thoroughness in anything that I endeavor.
I'm most proud of the accomplishments I've made in my past experiences in the manufacturing industry. I've worked at jobs including fast food restaurants, security, and as an ASM setter/operator.
Something interesting about me is that I am a people person.
I will be a great candidate for your investment!

I have known Israel since January 2013 when he was accepted into JARC's Careers in Manufacturing Program: Fast Track for CNC Operators.
I think meeting this need is important because it will greatly help Israel to have his gear to be prepared for job interviews and on the job needs once he finds a job in the CNC field.
This will move Israel's life forward by assisting him to have the confidence in himself, his skills and abilities to break into this field. He has manufacturing experience and is doing great in the training program. He has taken a leadership role in JARC's training program as an acting shift manager in charge of assisting training in new students. He always lends a helping hand to others and with that kind of attitude finding his first CNC job shouldn't be a problem!
