I am a 34 year old man. I moved to Chicago from New Jersey to be with my partner. We were homeless for 3 years. We finally moved into an apartment this month.

My goals are to begin culinary school, because cooking is my passion. My other goal is to remain living in this apartment and never become homeless again.

I need furniture to to make my new apartment into a home. An appointment with delivery from the Chicago Furniture Bank will provide a bed, dresser, living room furniture, a kitchen table, and other household goods. With $300 I can cover the cost of an appointment and installation.

Meeting this need will help me because we are starting over with nothing after 3 years on the streets. This help will add stability and comfort to our home living environment.
