I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Benevolent team for providing this service for people in need. The donors were generous to our cause and my client will be forever grateful. She actually told me she feels a huge burden has been lifted off her shoulders and now will be able to have her vehicle pass the emissions test so she can continue taking her children and grandchildren to their therapy appointments.

I would like to thank the Benevolent team for the opportunity to utilize their services. It is nice to know there are generous people in this world that are willing to help people like Brenda. Getting our need met will make a huge difference to this woman and I thank each and everyone of you!
Overview
I am raising my 2 biological children and 2 grand babies. I'm proud of being able to care for my children and the fact that my grandchildren did not have to go to a foster home. I'm happiest when the house is running smoothly and I can spend some quality time with my children and grandchildren. Something interesting about me is I like to cook and bake and garden when I have the time. I live in Aurora, Il.
My goal is to keep everyone healthy and able to function well in society when they become adults. Meeting this need will help me because I will have a reliable vehicle to transport the children and will not have to worry anymore.
I need car repairs to pass the emissions test so I can continue taking everyone to their appointments. My grandson who is 8 months old and developmentally delayed in all areas and sees many doctors has severe eczema which makes him extremely uncomfortable. He also has stenosis of the pulmonary valve, and may require surgery in the future. I also have an 8 year old who is developmentally delayed with emotional outbursts who sees an Occupational therapist and goes to an alternative school.
I am a good mother and grandmother and I do my best to get everyone to the Dr. appointments and therapy sessions and there are days when I am in the car for hours. This is a huge challenge for me, but I will never give up because I care greatly for them.

When I started my internship at Hesed House in May, Brenda was my first client.
I think meeting this need is important because Brenda needs a reliable vehicle to transport her son and 2 grandchildren to various doctor and therapy appointments.
Brenda is a sweet woman who has overcome many obstacles and is taking the responsibility of raising grandchildren. Brenda suffers from COPD, arthritis, and migrane headaches, but always manages to have a smile on her face.
