Overview

I am 29 years old from Baringo. I am a wife and have two kids. One of my children passed away due to prolonged labor. I suffered from a fistula for twelve years before I was able to receive treatment. At that time, I was kicked out of my home by my husband and was looked down upon by my community. I am now out of treatment and am hoping to start my own business by selling vegetables and produce.

My goals are to run a business so that I can support my child and ensure we can live a better life.

I need help buying produce from the wholesale market that I can resell in my village.

Meeting this need will help me because the produce will allow me to start my own business in my village. This will be an opportunity for me to earn more income and provide for my family. I don't have any support from others but this will help me make do with what I have.

Jane has an extreme amount of strength and eagerness to sell Mutumba so she can support her family. She desires to be self sufficient after suffering from a fistula for a very long time. Our program will be following up with Jane to ensure she has the support needed to start a business selling second hand clothes.
