Overview
My name is Sarah. I came from Eritrea. In 2009, I left Eritrea and left to Sudan. From Sudan, I went to Egypt and then to America. I walked with my six children across the dessert, from Eritrea to Sudan to Egypt.
My goal is to be self-employed. I'm currently attending sewing class and hope to carry on with my employment goal of being self-sufficient, and helping my children as a single mother.
I need a sewing machine to be able to continue my career goals.
Meeting this need will help me open an alteration store in the future. I will also be able to be independent and self-sufficient.
Need funded!
Thank you for helping Sarah fund this need.

I have work with Sarah for six months at AACI. She is a strong and resilient individual. Her goal is to be able to be self-sufficient and be able to provide for her family. I believe that obtaining a sewing machine will allow her to reach her goal and be able to utilize the sewing machine to help her and her family as well.
