Overview
I am a licensed massage therapist and I truly love all aspects of my work. Through three years of experience, I have enjoyed bringing a sense of healing, helping people find relaxation, relieving pain, and being a person for my clients to talk to. Unfortunately, when I became homeless in 2014, I was forced to take a break from my work. Now, I finally feel that I am in a place where I can get back to massage therapy to support myself and my son.
My goal is to continue to develop my massage skills and to help as many people as possible. In the future, I hope to get the training to specialize in clinical massage therapy.
I am asking the Benevolent community to aid me in getting a portable massage chair in order to make my services more accessible to clients. I plan to bring the chair directly to my clients’ community spaces, homes, and small businesses. This chair would also help in my shift towards more clinical massage therapy because it enables more targeted work.
Expanding my work with this chair will help me increase my income and my self-sufficiency. Thank you for any support you are able to offer. Returning to massage therapy means revitalizing my stability and independence.

During my time here at Inspiration Corporation, I have seen that Tina is an integral part of our community. I can often find her providing a listening ear or thoughtful advice to our participants. Although Tina is very humble and soft spoken, her actions speak very loudly of her compassion for others and ability to take initiative in steps towards her goals. During our appointments, Tina continually shows that she is honest and passionate about her work as a massage therapist. Supporting this need will help Tina take large strides in improving her career and her life as a whole. I cannot wait to see her succeed with this new massage chair.
