A Good Night's Sleep Dec 7, 2016
Kayla from the Center for Changing Lives shared with us a wonderful update on Natasha and her son:
"Natasha continues to work hard to achieve her goals. She has obtained a job that she really likes! She has also been working on her GED and reported that she passed the English and math test with no problem and will be taking the final soon. We are so proud of all that has done and continue to do! Natasha is very grateful for the financial support she received through Benevolent and those who were able to support her. Currently, she and her son are sleeping on the floor of their apartment so she believes the funds will be best used to buy them a bed. A good night's rest will mean all the difference in her GED final. We at CCL thank all the people who have made this possible and will try to update you once Natasha has obtained her GED."
Overview
I am a mother who is 51 years old. I am trying to get my GED so I can further my education as a pharmacist.
My goals are to find an office job in order to set my time. I want to have my weekend available so I can take classes to continue with my education.
I need a laptop so when I start class in August I access to internet service to do my homework from home. I need access to a laptop to print homework and to work on classes online.
Meeting this need will help me communicate with teachers, I will be able to do research, and use the laptop in order to get my GED. I will not only use it for my GED but for my future career.
Need funded!
Thank you for helping Natasha fund this need.
