Overview
I have been in the beauty industry over 20 years in Wisconsin. Under unfortunate circumstances, I relocated to Chicago and I am currently a participant in the Ending Veterans Homelessness Initiative with North Side Housing & Supportive Services.
My goals are to find employment and to become less dependent on supportive services. Increasing my income level could allow me to eventually graduate from North Side Housing & Supportive Services.
In order to become self-sufficient again, I need to have my nail technician license and endorsement transferred to Illinois. After obtaining the license transfer, I can gain employment as a nail technician. I am also asking for some supplies that I need work as successful nail technician.
Meeting this need will help me because then I can obtain employment as a nail technician. I have years of experience and a passion for providing personal care services. My only barrier to becoming employed in this field is not having an Illinois license.
