I am Arlen Malacaman from La Carlota, Philippines I am a 57-year-old public school teacher who tries to augment income by operating a simple street food cart. This small food cart generates extra income for me and my wife and my two kids.

My goals are to provide clean street food and showcase my products in a covered shelf free from flies and dust from the street. I want to have a mobile food cart so that I could easily transport my products to where people are congregating and to avoid paying for rent.

I need a clean mobile food cart that would showcase my cooked food, and which would allow me to easily transport my offering to where the customers are.

Meeting this need will help me serve my customers better and generate better income for my family’s needs.

Arlen is a public school teacher who wants to augment his income by setting up a food cart business. He learned how to cook through a local class and he trained his wife to watch over the daily operation of the food cart. He likes the idea of a mobile food cart because he could park it anywhere and he doesn't need to pay for rental space. He also trained his wife and his older child to peddle the food in areas where people congregate, like in front of schools, churches, and parks. Arlen teaches in public school in the morning and in the afternoon he checks and supervises his small business. He needs to replace his cart so that he could better present his food in a clean shelf away from flies and dust.
