Mike from Brooklyn, New York

I'm a 61 year-old on chemo. I need food delivered when I'm too weak to go get it.

I don't have family to help. When I'm in treatment sometimes it is too hard to get out and get food. These funds will cover me when I'm at my weakest.

My need and situation

I am a 61 year old with a pure heart. I've hustled all of my life, and recently promoted auctions around the city by passing out flyers on street corners.

My goals are to beat colon cancer, and live a life that matches my heart. Colon cancer motivated me to overcome my cocaine addiction, and I've been sober for over a year after a 40 year addiction.

I need food delivered to me when I'm at my weakest. There are times when my chemo treatments knock me down, and I need to rest. I don't have children or family to bring me groceries, and a food delivery service would help a lot. $300 would cover about a month's worth of meal deliveries.

Every fighter needs a strong corner to win. I've overcome drug addiction, and I'm mentally ready for the biggest bout of my life. I just need a little help.
