Overview
I am a waitress and bartender of over 15 years.
I live with a wonderful roommate and my two fat, friendly cats named Kermit and Mouse. I love making things with my hands, using power tools, and baking. Since I was laid off, I have been training in CNC Machining at JARC.
My goals are to learn a new skill that will enable me to change to a career path that offers stable income and health insurance. I want to be the best employee I can be and have a career I can feel proud of.
I need work gear. Specifically steel-toed boots and a safety helmet. I also need work pants. I’ve never worked in this field, and my current work clothes are not suitable for this line of work.
Meeting this need will help me because I’ve been laid off from my current job because of Covid-19 for many months, and it is difficult to come up with any extra money for work gear after paying my bills. I want to be safe in my new occupation, but my rent has to take priority.
