Hello and thank you. I know you are far away but your giving helps me so much. I can have what I need for school now, to go with dignity. May God bless you for your good heart.

Overview

I am a 18 year old student in Class 6 and I am a fistula survivor. I live with my mother, my aunt, and my two siblings. I became pregnant at 14 and had a difficult labor that left me with fistula. Now I have had surgery to repair the fistula and I am healthy. I stopped going to school when I got the fistula because my family did not have enough money and because the other students bullied me because of the smell.

My goals are to finish school. One day I want to become a judge in the law court. I also dream to go back to my town and take other girls with fistula to the hospital I went to for repair.

I need $400 for school fees, uniform, sanitary pads, and food.

Meeting this need will help me because I am healed and ambitious to get my dreams. All that stands in my way is they money to support me in school.

Winslet - nicknamed Winnie - is an ambitious young woman. She has been through tremendous hardship with a pregnancy, difficult labor, and fistula. Even so, she hasn't lost sight of her dreams of finishing school and building a career as a judge. Winnie is driven and hopeful and I believe in her ability to succeed, and she'll have our help along the way.
