Thank you from Davis Street Family Resource Center Jan 27, 2014
Sandy at Davis Street FRC has sent us this note:
I am so happy that Angelica got funded! I am sure that she will make good use of her computer and it will be a helpful tool for her schooling.
Overview
My goal is to earn my BA in Social Sciences with a minor in Early Childhood Development to advance in my career so I can better provide for my two daughters. To do that, I need laptop computer to continue my education.
Currently, I am a teacher's aide at a childcare center. I want to go back to school, earn my BA in Social Sciences (with a minor in Early Childhood Development) so I can work as a teacher.
Meeting this need will help me because it will allow me to pursue my education and be better qualified for advancements in my career.
I'm from Hayward, CA, and I live in Union City. Something interesting about me is that I am a young mom of a 4-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old daughter. I'm happiest when I spend quality time with my children. I'm most proud of my success in school. I graduated from Chabot College and got my AA degree.
Need funded!
Thank you for helping Angelica fund this need.

We met when I helped her enroll for child care services last December. I think meeting this need is important because Angelica will be able to go back to school in order to upgrade to a teacher's permit and receive more early childhood development education while working on her BA degree.
Angelica works very hard at her job and caring for her two daughters. She will be very thankful for any assistance she can get to make a better life for her children.
