Overview
I am 8 years old and my favorite subject in school is English grammar class. I live with my mother and brother in Juba, Freetown. My mother is currently unemployed and my father abandoned our family when I was only 2 years old. Access to a clean water supply is a daily challenge in our community. But the biggest challenge I am facing right now is appendicitis.
When I grow up, l really want to become a medical doctor. I want to become a doctor to help others and give back to my community. When I become older, I also want to help improve the medical care in my community.
I am currently battling a severe case of appendicitis and I need immediate medical attention. This has affected me academically, mentally, and physically but my family cannot afford to pay for the removal of my appendix. My situation demands emergency medical intervention to ensure my well-being. As you can imagine, the cost of medical treatments and procedures are substantial, and my unemployed mom is unable to meet the financial demands of this unexpected crisis.
My family is kindly requesting financial support so that I can undergo a successful surgery and live a healthy life again. I will be free from pain and the risk of a ruptured appendix. I can go back to school and continue being a kid.

Janet is a bright student and we have been supporting her education for a couple years. Her family is unable to cover the surgical costs and family does not have medical insurance. They need our critical help at this time of an unforeseen challenge. It would be great if we could help her get the surgery she urgently needs.
