We just got off the phone with Lyn and she had this to say:
"I was so excited about being able to purchase the computer I had used all year, back from my school. It has been a huge help in allowing me to do freelance work. Since I purchased my computer I've had to recover some of the programs because they were deleted/cleaned off the computer before it was returned to me. This was not a huge deal and hasn't stopped me from going after jobs. I just want to say thanks to everyone that supported me it really means a lot."
Overview
Hi my name is Lyn and I just graduated with my degree in graphic design. I have job opportunities but I need a computer to work.
During school I was able to rent a MacBook to do my work. At the end of the year the school discounts the same MacBooks for purchase. I would now like to purchase the MacBook I used during the school year to continue my work outside the classroom. The MacBook is the most ideal computer to use for my line of work but the market price is too expensive for me to purchase. Purchasing the computer I have used throughout my education will allow for the easiest transition in starting a new job.
Aside from my career, I have a daughter who means the world to me. She is seven years old and she is a very special, smart and beautiful little girl.
My goal is to become a successful graphic designer and continue to grow in my craft and abilities and support myself and my daughter.
I need to purchase the MacBook my school is selling at discount so I can accept a job in graphic design.
Meeting this need will help me because I will be able to begin working, which I'm really excited about!
