Overview
I am a single mother of twelve children. Seven are currently in the household. I work as a home health provider to support my family. Recently my home was invaded by bedbugs. We had to throw out all our bedding and furniture as a result. I was able to pay for extermination and treatment but my family is now left with no furniture or bedding.
My goals are to own my own home and one day my own business. I'd like to own an adult foster care home to give back to those who are less fortunate and need additional support.
I need beds to get my children off the floor and provide them comfort at night.
Meeting this need will help me because it will take the worry away. I work hard but can't afford to purchase multiple beds at once. If I can get my kids off the hardwood floor and back to some type of comfort in our home, I'd be able to focus on my job and other responsibilities I have.

I know Kim because her son was placed on my caseload. In February of this year the family experienced a bedbug infestation and had to throw out all their beds and furniture. The children are now sleeping on the hardwood floors which I know is not comfortable or good for their bodies. New beds will bring back a sense of security and comfort to their lives.
