I'm in school & working to support my family! A bed will let me rest after a long day

I'm working hard to finish my GED and support my family. Right now I'm sleeping on the floor. A bed will help me get the proper rest I need to thrive.

Overview

I am a 19-year-old young man who recently moved with his 22-year-old brother. I am a student trying to obtain my High School Equivalency Diploma. We were living with our 90-year-old great grandmother who is now in a nursing home. We are now on our own trying to maintain her apartment.

My goals are complete the GED classes and obtain my diploma. I would like to grow in my current position in food services into a full-time position.

I need a bed or futon sofa bed. I am currently sleeping on the floor on an air mattress which is not a very good one. We also do not have any living room furniture to sit on as the couch was destroyed by my grandmother's two dogs and had to be thrown out.

Meeting this need will help me because I have not been able to get proper rest for some time now. I have long days while in class and working and come home very tired. I have no bed and no place to rest. Purchasing these items would allow me to get the proper rest I need to make it through my day.

I have known Jordan as his Probation Officer. He is a very motivated young man trying to move forward in life. I have made visits to his home and can attest to his need of these items for which he is asking help. I believe with this assistance Jordan can move closer to his goals.
