Overview

I am a highly-motivated individual with a huge appetite for learning. My artistic background led me to this field of work and I hope to continue enhancing my skills while working in the manufacturing industry.

One of my goals is to acquire a job as an automotive welder. I would love to help construct not only cars, but motorcycles and other machinery. After a few years in the industry, I plan to go back to school to study welding engineering as well as design to become a designer/drafter. I am excited and motivated by the idea of designing parts or even something structural like a motorcycle.

Currently, I am in need of welding gear. Having the necessary gear will provide both comfort and protection.

Welding gear, which includes safety glasses and a helmet, is very crucial and one of the most important aspects of becoming a good welder. This gear will help me make that next step and become a job ready welder.

I know Alex from my digital and financial literacy classes. He is engaged in all of my class activities and exercises, including the more eccentric icebreakers. It is very clear that Alex is focused and working hard to become a qualified welder. Welding gear is often an expense one does not account for when making a monthly budget but is obviously vital to becoming a professional welder. I really think funding this need will definitely go a long way and ensure short-term financial stability!
