Overview

I am a 45 -year old survivor of domestic violence. Everything I had was lost due to homelessness. I am now proud to be back on my feet, living safely in my own home and working with my social worker on new life goals. In order to pursue my goals I need a basic laptop and a printer.

I am legally disabled and live with my service dog Levi. I have PTSD and Levi amazes me everyday with what he is trained to do.

I have a huge love of animals. My goal is to finish school to become a veterinary technician. A basic laptop and printer will enable me to pursue my goals.

Meeting this need will help me because I will have the tools to complete my schooling, licencing, and certificate. Thank you for your support.

I met Ms. Charlotte when I started my employment at Barrier-Free Living on January 2, 2018. Since then, Ms. Charlotte access services from case management, budget management, to other services that are presented, such as appointment making for her medical and mental health to medication adherence. Ms. Charlotte is motivated and attentive to her responsibilities as she continues to move towards self-actualization.
