Overview

I am a charismatic people person who finds himself in a tough predicament due to past lifestyle choices. I am currently working part-time at a restaurant and am having a rough time meeting my financial needs.

My goals are to find the right job that will secure not only my financial needs, but will be able to provide for my daughter properly. There is a restaurant that I am waiting to get into, as soon as a position opens.

I need a laptop for my daughter who is currently in school. I feel inadequate not being able to afford this for her on my own, and would appreciate any help that could be given to me.

Meeting this need will help me because I would have provided something that my daughter needs for school and furthering her education. There is nothing more important to me than my daughter's happiness, education, and her future- which this laptop will help tremendously.

I have known James through the Department of Probation for about two years. Throughout his two years on probation, I have seen James work tremendously on himself to better himself and his circumstances so he can better provide for his family. James began probation being unemployed, and has struggled to obtain a job due to his record. James is now currently employed part-time and is still struggling to meet his financial needs. James has had no re-arrests while being on probation and has been honest and clear about what he's looking for and working on. It will be great to see James receive this help so that he can better help his daughter.
