Overview
I am a single mother with two teenage boys. I was in a abusive relationship for 15 years with the father of my two sons. Doctors prescribed me opiates for my injuries and I became addicted, then incarcerated for 2 years. I was released 2 months ago and by God's grace have been committed to turning my life around. Today, I am enrolled at Jane Addams in the welding program and I am sober.
My goals are to live a healthy lifestyle while continuing my education here at Jane Addams. My plans are to finish this program, get a good job and raise my family.
I need steel-toed boots, metrology kit, a welding jacket, helmet and gloves.
Meeting this need will help me because this gear will help me be prepared to start a job in welding.

Jackie is so motivated to succeed that it's inspiring. She is extremely focused on learning as much about welding as she can to be successful. If you read her story, you know that she has not had an easy road. Nevertheless, she persisted. Jackie is actively working to be her best self. It would be amazing to see her get the help she needs.
