Overview
I'm a young African woman who could never attend a traditional school because my family was too poor to send me. I decided to go to the Grafton Vocational Tailoring School and learn how to sew. After I graduated, I volunteered at a tailoring shop to get experience.
I want to sew dresses to sell. Eventually, I want to take the money I earn from selling dresses and open my tailoring shop.
I need a sewing machine to get started. Your support will go towards helping me purchase a sewing machine, table, scissors, thread, etc., and other supplies so I can start sewing the dresses I intend to sell.
This is the first step on my journey. Having a sewing machine will get me started, so I can earn the money I will eventually need in order to open my own tailoring shop.

Sia came in contact with Develop through a staff member. They both live in the same community. Sia explained to her the challenges of not having a sewing machine of her own. She deserves a helping hand to get started. This will help her become self-sufficient.
