Overview
I am a single, African-American woman. I am employed at a university. I have been in Chicago for four years. A major part of my life here has been recovering from drugs and alcohol and becoming self-sufficient.
My goals are to go back to school, stay sober, and travel. In order to accomplish my other goals, I know that I need to stay sober.
I need furniture for my new apartment. This will include a dinette set, dresser, night stand, chair, and a floor lamp.
Meeting this need will help me because with the furniture, I will be able to get a good night's rest and do the things I'm responsible for, such as work, meetings, and church.

I met Denise through her participation in the Employment Services Program at Inspiration Corporation. She is a bright, joyful, and hardworking person. I am so proud of her for having moved into housing and she greatly deserves furniture for her new apartment.
