I am proud to be a part of Easterseals New York since 2005. As Director of the Bronx Child Development Center, my work involves providing a safe and enriched learning environment to nearly 200 special needs preschool students a year. The teachers, therapists, and support staff are dedicated to meeting the unique needs of each child and their family. I am inspired by their hard-work and their continued desire to learn more in how to utilize research-based practices to better serve our students.

Bronx families with special needs children can face barriers to access of services, nutritional well-being, language differences and economic limitations to fully participate in their children's education. Our goal at the school is to not only deliver a developmentally appropriate curriculum and supports for our students, but to ensure that our families are provided with sound resources to assist them in overcoming health, economic and social challenges.
