Jubilee JumpStart is an innovative early childhood education center located in Jubilee Housing, a subsidized housing community in the District of Columbia’s Adams Morgan neighborhood, which provides early education and the highest quality care for the city’s neediest children. Our mission is to ensure that children are fully prepared for success in school and beyond by providing them with early education enriched by an intense focus on social and emotional well-being and practical support to their families. A vibrant learning community, Jubilee JumpStart has two goals: 1) to ensure that each child has the social, emotional, and cognitive skills to build a healthy, meaningful life; and 2) to create a network of nurturing and supportive adults for children in the community by fostering the bonds between parent and child. Jubilee JumpStart empowers families to move up and out of poverty by helping children and parents to realize their educational and career opportunities.
