Overview
I'm Benny, and I have lived on the near west side of Chicago for my whole life. I'm currently enrolled in a metalworking training program at JARC. I have been training for over 6 months.
My goals are to graduate with my NIMS (National Institute for Metalworking Skills) certification, obtain my OSHA 10-hour safety certificate, and get hired by a manufacturing company this summer.
I need steel-toed boots to protect my feet in the shop, a metrology kit to measure items, and uniform attire that would be standard for the machine shop I want to join.
Meeting this need will help me get my foot in the door once again. I am rebounding from a difficult time and unemployment is no joke. I would like to be a better example for myself and my family.
