Update: Jenny's computer's been fixed! Aug 12, 2013
We're happy to report that Jenny's computer's been repaired! Anna tells us Jenny's excited and is sending out resumes and getting in contact with agencies, now that she's ready to work again.
Overview
I need my desktop computer repaired so that I may continue to work from home. This includes adding memory to my hard drive, transferring data, and anti virus protection.
I am a Customer Service Representative, also an Interviewer.
Meeting this need will help me because once I get the computer I can return back to work. My income will be sufficient enough to meet my day to day needs.
My goal is to return to work as soon as possible so I won"t have to worry about if my day to day needs will be met.
My current situation I've been without a computer for over 6 months and unable to return back to employment. I am living on a fixed income of disability that only covers barely the bare necessities. Therefore I am not able to afford the cost of repairing my computer. I previously was working with Employment Options and they are patiently waiting on me to return.
Right now, my biggest challenge is lack of income. I now am having problems paying for my medications.
I think of myself mostly as an independent single woman. I have no current financial support. I am all alone so working from home would make me feel a connection with the outside world.
I've worked at jobs including law offices, real estate, as well as customer service. I'm most proud of being in this field for over 40 years. Something interesting about me is I worked for the Chicago Cubs Baseball for 4 years which was a delight.
I am a middle age woman that has some health issues. This is why I work inside the home. Not having my computer has prohibited me from taking care of my needs properly. I would appreciate assistance. Due to my health issues which are several I have not worked outside the home since 2009. I have had my current at-home position for over 2 years.

I think meeting this need is important because Jenny has been working hard to return back to the career she loves which is impossble for her to do with out a working home computer.
This will move the recipient's life forward by allowing her to accept job assignments.
Jenny has tried to use other resources to repair her computer before reaching out to Benevolent for help.
