Please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Anna Wilson and I am the Case Manager for Inspiration Corporation’s Foodservice Training program, Garfield Park , which is located in our Social Enterprise Restaurant Inspiration Kitchens at 3504 W Lake Street ,Chicago IL .
In an atmosphere of dignity and respect Inspiration Corporation provides people who are affected by homelessness and poverty and other barriers such and a criminal record with the much needed supportive services to increase self-reliance.
Inspiration Corporation conducts workforce development trainings; including our Foodservice Training Program which includes basic knife skills, food preps, high volume and event catering. Most students obtain their city of Chicago Sanitation License upon completion of the program. I assist our students from orientation through graduation.
Other positions I have held at Inspiration include Employment Services Career Specialist and Program Assistant Inspiration Kitchens. I am a former graduate of Inspiration Corporation’s: the Employment Project.
What I like about my job is helping people work through their personal obstacles and become employable.
Currently I am working on my degree in Nonprofit Management from North Park University.
