Kevin from New York, NY

On the road to recovery. An addiction class will help me move forward.

An educational panel will give me skills to rebuild after dealing with the consequences of addiction.

I am a 56-year-old male who resides on Staten Island with my elderly mother. I am currently unemployed and don't have any extra money. I'm working hard to comply with the stipulations of my probation from DWI. I want to recover and move forward.

My goals are to finally be able to stop drinking and become a sober member of our society. I know that this panel will help me arm myself with the knowledge and coping strategies I need to make that happen.

I need $100 to comply with one of the conditions of my probation, which is to attend a VIP panel (Mothers Against Drunk Drivers). $100 will cover the cost of the panel.

Meeting this need will help me because I will be able to comply with conditions of my probation. Successfully completing my probation sentence will be a big step on my path toward recovery.

I have been working with this client for the past several months through one of my probation officers. He has been making great effort to remain compliant with conditions of his probation and his sobriety.
