Overview
I am a 20 year old female who was raised in foster care from the ages of 16 -18 after being discharged from foster care. I am the youngest of 11 children. I am trying to re establish my life and have very few support systems outside of the Department of Probation.
My goals are to get my education and build a company that will help the homeless because when I was homeless I wish I had the help.
I need financial assistance to help me obtain by birth certificate to get my NYS ID so that I can get a job.
Meeting this need will help me because I will be able to look for employment and get my High School Equivalency diploma.

I have worked with Mya for over a year supervising her in the community. Mya is a bright young woman who struggles with stability and family supports. Mya is working on bettering herself by becoming financially stable however is unable to pay for her Birth Certificate and NYS ID. Mya works on her emotional health on a daily basis to encourage herself to make better choices in life.
