Phillip

I am 50 years old and I have had low paying jobs most of my life. I have had the opportunity to get training at JARC and was very grateful for the chance to build myself. I thank the people that have helped me on my journey in my life. I have learned something from everyone.

I think of myself mostly as a survivor. I have had to re-invent myself in order to live on this earth with others.

I'm most proud of helping a classmate get his driver's license, helping my mom shopping on Saturdays, going to church on Sundays, and helping people that are less fortunate than me.

I've worked at jobs including security guard and parking attendant.

Something interesting about me is I work hard to be a better person every day.
