I am a second-year masters student at the University of Chicago's School of Social Service Administration.

I have been working with LIFT since January of 2013. I first started with LIFT as an intern completing the field requirement for my master's program in social work. This summer, I have been working with LIFT full-time as a recipient of a summer fellowship. At LIFT I work one-on-one with community members assisting them in securing stable housing, employment, and other connections to services in the community that will increase their overall well-being. I love working at LIFT and having the opportunity to meet with members of the community and connect them to the services they need. It is incredibly inspiring to be surrounded by hardworking and endlessly hopeful individuals, even when dealing with issues of homelessness, unemployment, and discrimination.
