Ian
I identify as a youth advocate and group facilitator with a passion for dancing, mediating conflict, rapping, and baking. I have served young people in creating social justice theater in several settings, including facilitating therapeutic theater-based groups for LGBT young people at a transitional shelter in St. Louis before starting at YEPP. I hope to move forward to use theater and arts to collaboratively create a better world.
Working with YEPP has honestly changed my life. This work is art at its best- healing and building community. And unfortunately sometimes that means we are so dedicated to our work with young people that our all-volunteer-staff does not have the capacity to raise the funds to fulfill basic needs of the people we work with. So we deeply thank you for the support! You are changing the world!

Where I live, there’s a lot of transphobia and men targeting women at night. With my new job and help with a deposit, I can move to safety. More
