I am a Supportive Employment Specialist for The Workforce Development Program at New Moms, Inc. My work involves equipping young women with the job training skills they need in order to obtain and retain quality, permanent employment. I provide individual employment coaching and goal planning to create a pathway to achieve their career goals.
What I like about my job is witnessing the growth in participant's skills and self-esteem as they put into practice what they learned in the job training course at our social enterprise, Bright Endeavors. Watching the transformation the participants take on after completing the program is truly a joy to be part of.
