Patricia
My job title is Senior Mental Health Clinician. I have been in this position since July 2009.
My work involves conducting eligibility screenings and initial intakes for new clients as well as coordinating all of their follow up care. I also organize group activities and oversee our services for youth survivors of torture.
What I like about my job is working directly with the clients and reconnecting them with HOPE.
In the future, I would like to expand our services to reach more survivors and expand our youth program services. I would also like to create a peer mentor program for survivors.
I serve on the Board of Directors for a human rights film and documentary group and have conducted research on victims of human trafficking.
