I am the program manager of the Day Laborer, Health Promotores, and Civic Engagement programs.
My work involves connecting people to resources, to jobs, providing ESL and other skills and training so that people are self sufficient, working along with the residents to transform our community and getting involved to be heard and fostering volunteerism within our own community!
What I like about my job is the people that meet and that I am working in the community that I grew up in.
We meet clients everyday that need one thing, which we may think it is not a big deal or a big need, but something small can make a big difference in someone's life! People struggle through many challenges and it feels great to be able to offer this great resource to those moving forward and working hard to succeed!

Michael Chavez Center & Monument Community Partnership- Michael Chavez Center is actively engage with the Monument Community to provide training and tools, in order for people to become:

• healthy and safe
• civically engaged
• connected to each other, and
